Insightful, intriguing, probing, stark, thought-provoking. I like the way you are searching for your depth of purpose and meaning in your art. Best wishes for a fruitful 2024.
I feel this melancholy too but I am anxious to call it something else. Impermanence is how I see it and it is that but it is born from a feeling of melancholy. I hadn't really understood that until now.
Beautiful. Melancholy is one of my driving forces too, although it always feels odd to say so. I'm quite cheery, really!
Yes, I feel the same way too! Kindred spirits!!! 😁⭐️😁
This reminded me of a few lines from my favorite Rilke poem “Through the empty branches the sky remains.
It is what you have.
Be earth now, and evensong.
Be the ground lying under that sky.”
This is so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing this 🙏🏻❄️🙏🏻

Thank you so much, wishing you a magical 2024 x
So beautiful. An exploration in all senses. I think it’s the purpose of winter - internal change x
Thank you my friend, Winter is a special time isn’t it x ❄️
