Now I’m in the process of sorting out my tiny studio and letting some of my work go, it’s been great fun re-connecting with the reasons why I made them in the first place.
Re-reading some of the daft stories that I’ve written has rekindled the playful spark in me I think, and I can’t wait to get cracking on new work.
But first I have my embroidery sale to organise, it’s taken me a long time to allow these to be offered to the outside world, but I do believe that we have to make space for the new things we want to explore and the new tales we need to tell.
I really enjoyed reading the story of Madam Luna and the Acrobat Mice, hope it makes you smile a little bit…
A LITTLE NOTE TO ANYONE WHO’S NEW TO SUBSTACK:
Thanks so much for subscribing to my Substack.
If you’re new to this (like I am!) it might be handy for you to know that if you don’t want an email every time I post here, you can click on ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom and just un-tick the box where it says ‘Mrs B’s Substack’ (my studio journal-type blog thingy) and/ or ‘The Bertimus Bulletin’ (my monthly newsletter) then you can hop onto Substack to read when you want instead, if you’d prefer.
Cheers and thanks again!
Such a lovely story and Ilike how you tell it moving those pretty mice!
I love the micie-mice-ies!
